Mr. Pappas is an Executive Consultant at Canea Group, LLC. Mr. Pappas is a well-known technology veteran with over 40 years experience in the fields of information technology (IT), development engineering, marketing and business management. His expertise spans internet technology, enterprise applications, CRM applications, PostScript development, communications systems, global manufacturing, professional services and automated test systems. He served as the Chief Information Officer for VMware and led the IT organization during the period of hyper-growth.
He was also the Chief Information Officer for Hotwire, Portal Software, VeriFone/HP and Adobe Systems where he was responsible for leading all IT activities. He served as Vice President of Engineering at Adobe Systems, a Test Engineering manager at Apple Computer, a Business Unit Director & Vice President of Engineering (VPE) for Schlumberger Technologies, a Director of Software at MSI Data, and held various technology and marketing positions with the Xerox Corporation. He is an active member of several Chief Information Officer & Vice President of Engineering communities of practice and service organizations. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at 2Checkout.com, Inc. He served as a Member of Advisory Board at FastScale Technology, Inc. He holds a Certificate of Technical Business Management from UCLA and a BA in Mathematics from Brooklyn College of the University of the City of New York.
